Today is day 3 of the spring cleanse and I woke up feeling a little tired and slow this morning. I decided I need some grains to fill me up a bit as I was super hungry, and I wanted to use some of this three bean mix that I made yesterday…when I looked in my fridge to see what greens I could add, I found this beautiful bunch of radishes and, presto! A warm, filling, cleansing breakfast…
1 tbs coconut oil
3-4 radish greens
1/2 cup quinoa
1/2 cup Tru Roots sprouted bean trio mix
Black sesame seeds
Heat up the re-cooked quinoa and beans in a skillet with coconut oil for about 3 min. Add in the radish greens till warmed. Transfer to a bowl and top with turmeric, cayenne and fresh cut radish. Devour.
